As with in-person meetings, prior to your Skype for Business meeting, write down questions you have for you advisor and prepare for the meeting by accessing your Academic Advisement Report, reviewing requirements for majors, minors, and certificates that interest you, and searching for classes through your Student Center. If you received and accepted an invitation in advance via email, click on the link in your Outlook calendar to join the call. Please note: Advisors sometimes send a link in advance via Outlook to participate in a Skype for Business meeting/appointment.
You can also search for your organizer at the top of the main Skype for Business window and initiate a call with them.
Your advisor will call you via Skype for Business at the meeting time. Make sure your meeting environment is quiet and free from other interruptions or distractions.
